Mr. Saad Rafic Hariri pledged commitment to the path of his father Martyr Prime Minister Rafic Hariri of maintaining Lebanon's unity, its independence and work with all loyalists to continue the political process within the frame of the Taef Accord, doing all that is needed for Lebanon's advancement, progress and stability.
Mr. Saad Hariri addressed thousands of people who converged on Koraytem this evening from Mazraa, Burj Abi Haydar, Ras Nabaa and Tareek Jdeedeh areas to reaffirm their backing to Mr. Saad Hariri in the presence of Mrs. Nazek Hariri. Mr. Hariri said: "Beirut will always be our priority as it always was in the heart and mind of my father the Martyr. I will do my best to continue the process of building Beirut and advancing it and fulfill its needs as well as the needs of other parts of the country because the country cannot progress without the rise of its capital." Mr. Hariri stressed on the necessity for all voters to cast their ballots on May 29 and vote for all the candidates on the Future Movement's Lists in Beirut three different electoral districts. He said: "Loyalty to Martyr Premier necessitates that all citizens head to the ballot boxes to exercise the duty of voting, cast their ballots and express their choices in choosing who represents them in the next parliament. There are people who are betting that the turnout will be low since there are no competing lists and the victory of the lists that we back is guaranteed. I call upon you to vote en masse for all members of the three lists without any exception as my Martyr father used to call upon you, to reaffirm your loyalty, commitment and backing to these lists. I would like to seize this opportunity to reiterate our full commitment to the ongoing investigations into the bombing that killed the Martyr Premier, to reveal the whole truth till the end and track, arrest and put on trial all those planned, participated in, and executed this terrorist crime."
