Head of the Future bloc in Parliament MP Saad Rafic Hariri congratulated Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for his re-election, and wished him success in achieving more prosperity and stability in his new term.

In a telegram to President Mubarak, MP Hariri said Wednesday’s re-election reflected the confidence of the Egyptians in his leadership and support for his policies that aim at advancing Egypt and bolstering its security and stability. On behalf of his bloc in Parliament, and the Lebanese people, Mr. Saad wished President Mubarak success in pressing ahead with Egypt’s leading role in uniting Arab ranks and defending their interests
